Travel Mexico

By: Zdenko Kahlina

Welcome to paradise!
Here we are… in Mexico again. This time we are in Baja California and old town of San Jose del Cabo. We wake up with the sound of birds singing in the cactus garden, and another warm and sunny day in front of us. If this is not paradise I don’t know what it is! At home in Edmonton it is snowing and my son is shoveling the snow (I hope he does it!). Just thinking about it makes us to appreciate this weather even more.

My Ride With Lance: The Riplay
In 2005 I rode with Lance Armstrong & about 30 others on an exclusive cancer fundraiser over two days in Lake Louise Alberta. Lance was at the height of his powers and in spite of his rock-star approach to the people who’d bucked up $35K each for the experience, we were all awestruck by his presence.

Most companies have a ‘halo’ bike, but only a handful can afford them. We’ve all seen or read about them at this point, and some have even been lucky enough to ride (or better yet, own) one: those ultra-premium ‘halo’ bikes that are cycling’s equivalent of that old Lamborghini Countach poster on your childhood wall.
