Traveling Croatia

Croatia is a small country with long history and lots of castles
Construction and development of manors and castles on the territory of Croatia can be followed with certainty in the last two millennium – from Roman villa rustics and palaces (like Diocletian’s palace), to medieval castles (burgs), renaissance villas-summer houses in Dubrovnik and Dalmatia, to baroque and historicist manors of Northern Croatia, and town villas and palaces in most bigger Croatian towns.

Top rides

Off the beaten path along the Eastern Cape in Baja California, Mexico – by bike.
On my recent trip to San Jose del Cabo, I’ve decided to ‘saddle up’ and ride my bike on the East Cape road. For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but just to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to constantly move and experience new places outside of hotel resorts. When visiting Cabo two years ago I didn’t explore this road because the information I had at the time it was a gravel road.

San Jose del Cabo – La Paz by car
During our stay in San Jose del Cabo we rented a car with the idea to make one day trips to Todos Santos, Cabo San Lucas and La Paz. So, after we already completed our trips to Cabo San Lucas and Todos Santos, early in the morning on Thursday, we left San Jose del Cabo and went towards Los Barriles and La Paz on Mexico Hwy 1.

East Cape road – “The real Baja”
The East Cape of Baja is an area of white sand beaches with warm, crystal clear waters that make for excellent diving, some of the world’s best sport fishing, world class windsurfing and kite boarding. The area is home to some beautiful resorts, a living coral reef and mile after mile of exceptionally beautiful, and sometimes, well hidden beaches.

Biking stories

Cycling changes gear as women take to the saddle.
They have been commuting in equal numbers for years, but the lure of lycra and the weekend group ride is something that women have until recently left mainly to the men.
